The organizers of this year’s ICYB will be welcoming 34 young booksellers from 11 countries on Sunday June 13. The catching title Innovate. Or die promises an interesting program: For the first time ICYB will last «only» three days from June 13^th until 16^th 2010. To keep the special ICYB spirit, vivid brainstorming sessions and workshops will still be the heart of the conference. A professional coach and his team will guide the young booksellers through the three days packed with knowledge, exchange and inspirations. Two days of the program will be held in the beautiful city of Ghent, on the third day we will «move» to the European Capital of Brussels to visit some extraordinary bookshop and retailing concepts.

The end of the conference will be the first-ever joint event for ICYB and IBF members: IBF invites all participants to their welcoming dinner. We will have the chance to give an ICYB inside view to the IBF members by presenting results of our brainstorming sessions as well as BIBY 2010. The new ICYB lottery offers the chance to win an ebook-reader (iriver Story) to all applicants who fill in a questionnaire and make a picture of themselves in their bookshop in advance.
